Meet Your Farmer Dinners are a series of experiential dining events that pair the farmers and chefs of rotating local restaurants. The chosen chef prepares the meal using as many of the featured farmer’s products as possible, supplemented by other local ingredients. Diners are treated to a presentation from the featured farmer about his or her farm and the products that were used during the lovingly prepared meal. This program builds farm-to-chef relationships. This is a fundraiser for Central Oregon Locavore Non Profit.

Central Oregon Locavore Non Profit has been supporting local food and local farmers since 2009.

A grassroots, boots-on-the-ground nonprofit thriving against the odds, we manage a 7-days a week, year-round, indoor farmers market and 5 educational programs that engage all ages by directly taking the community to local farmers and directly bringing local food to the community.Our programs, including Farm Kids, Edible Adventure Crew, Willing Workers on Local Farms, Locavore Food School, and Meet Your Farmer dinners, are experiential and serve a greater purpose.
